Pembroke has signed The Wilderness Society to a 23,000-square-foot office lease at 1801 Pennsylvania Ave. NW in Washington D.C.
. The 197,000-square-foot office complex was formerly secured by legislation company WilmerHale, which abandoned in 2018. The Wilderness Culture, a conservation organization, plans to relocate its headquarters to the residential or commercial property in June from 1615 M St. NW.
Pembroke acquired the workplace building in 2006 for $149 million and also introduced a significant renovation adhering to the regulation company’s separation. Work included the creation of a double-height entry and also the reconfiguration of the lobby to add a coffee shop as well as social lounge.
