Currently, Laura Dawn serves as the Principal, Conflict and Communication Specialist of Third Coast Mediation & Communication; an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and a Strategic Communications Firm.

She has worked across a multitude of disputes pertaining to family and business issues, technology, legal industry, marketing and real estate.

As an active listener and avid problem solver, Laura Dawn utilizes her expertise to facilitate options that will lead to resolutions within an empowered and confidential atmosphere. Ultimately, she is dedicated to being the go-to Mediator for those who want to preserve time, money, and potentially, business and family relationships without necessarily engaging fully in litigation. She uses the same approach to identify, clarify, and develop communications for press releases, reputation management, and web site collaterals.

In addition to being an active facilitator, Laura Dawn is bringing the entirety of her experience in strategic communication and leveraging her technology expertise together to launch the newest service offering of press release creation and national, regional, local, and industry-specific media distribution.

“I’m asked why would a Mediator write and publish news about my company? What does mediation have to do with the Press and communication marketing? – I get really excited when I hear this question. Let me explain…
I have been working with internet technologies since its introduction to the mainstream in the 1990s. I started my career by building websites, then moving into development and then moving into the marketing communication and business development for my own and other startup companies.
Navigating conflict, understanding how to leverage technology, and utilizing best communication practices have been the cornerstones of my entire career. Enhancing my conflict management skills through specialized training and taking a wide variety of cases has made me a better communicator and writer.
Working with companies during a time of crisis, growth or change and crafting communications for a press release or other collaterals is like ‘coming home’. I couldn’t be happier to meet the current need for strategic communication using best practices acquired throughout my experience.”

Laura Dawn has received more than 450 hours of advanced training in family, business and CPS mediation, holds Undergraduate Degrees and Certificates in both Computer Science and Mediation & Dispute Resolution, is a Microsoft Certified Professional with a specialty in Internet technology (MCP+I) and completing an additional Bachelor degree in Psychology from Thomas Edison State University.
